Lessons
What I learned in 2009:
Possessions won’t make you happy.
What you think, you will become.
The moments when we are saddest can sometimes be turned into the moments of greatest triumph.
Breakfast sandwiches are NOT health food.
You can’t control whether you have a good or bad hair day, but you can control whether you have a good or bad day.
Kids are a lot wiser than we give them credit for; it is possible for an 8 year old child to be a role model.
The best way to cheer yourself up, is to find someone else to cheer up.
God is great, God is good.
Everything tastes better if it is pink-colored.
There may not be time to sleep, but there is always time to read.
Never be too good to laugh at yourself.
If you believe you’re dancing really well, others will think so too. Self-consciousness does not belong to dancing!
People are more important than money, grades, possessions, or jobs. Prioritize people above everything else or risk achieving your goals for the wrong reasons.
2009 was a great year! I wonder what I will learn in 2010?
